Why this blog?

I have always enjoyed many areas of art.
Painting, dancing, singing, drawing, and writing have all been past aspirations of mine. Now days I focus on photography though. Mainly because I enjoy it, but also because it encompasses everything else I love to do.
When you finish a painting you take a picture of it. Your out dancing you get some pictures. You are singing a solo, there have to be pictures. Your drawing gets placed in the museum …. pictures.
Though I may not be pursuing all of these things myself I love being able to get “those” pictures for people. And I do still paint and draw so I haven’t abandoned all my past venues of creativity.

Having this blog allows me to write. To explain the “why?”, the inspiration for the photograph.

You see many people come up to me while I am working and ask me what I see that is worthy of being photographed. I usually show them some pictures I’ve already taken, but I always have to explain how I saw it.

Hopefully this blog helps you understand the “why?”. Hopefully this blog helps you see the inspiration.
